Ronaldo to accept pay cut to leave Manchester United, preferred destinations revealed

Manchester United superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly ready to take pay cut in other to force his move away from Old Trafford this summer, Newspremises reports.

Ronaldo who has a year left on his contract, on Saturday, asked Manchester United to be allowed to leave should they received a satisfactory offer from any potential suitors.


The 37-year-old decision to leave Manchester United is said to be driven by his desire to play in the Champions, according to reports.

The Red Devils would not feature in the Champions League next season, as they could only finish sixth in the Premier League table last season.

However, Manchester United since the official opening of the summer transfer window, maintained Ronaldo is not for sale, they want to keep him.

But, the Portugal captain will accept a reduction in his £500,000 per week salary in other to force his move to a new club, according to the UK Independent.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s preferred destinations are understood to be Chelsea and Bayern Munich.

The 37-year-old is so desperate to play in the Champions League next season and is ready to make sacrifices to ensure that.

Chelsea are in need of a focal point in attack following the departure of Romelu Lukaku who returned to Inter Milan on a one-year loan deal.

Robert Lewandowski is also trying to force an exit from Bayern Munich to Barcelona.
